Shoes are a favorite accessory of many women, so it is no wonder that they became my source of inspiration when digging through fashion news of today. Wait till you see these ones! Shoes of summer 2008 are more striking and more fascinating than ever before. Not to waste time and words, here are some models from the latest collections:
What is especially popular this season?
-Summer variant of boots with complex details: open and sexy as featured by Balenciaga and Givenchy;
-Outrageous designs of heels, strikingly messy but absolutely original. Chanel, Fendi and Yves Saint Laurent are the champions!
-Huge platforms (DSquared);
-A la metal colors are in favor. It is not something news but I found it interesting that light and neutral metallic shades are dominant this season not only in shoes but also in clothing and accessories collections.
One more thing: the champion of unexpected solutions in my book is Manolo Blahnik who presented an unusual combination of what can only be described as sneakers with heels in bright pink:
And finally, the latest Prada invention is absolutely phenomenal: classy and feminine black pair of heels shaped as a rose (Floral Heeled Peep Toe). Simply gorgeous!
