Especially in Atlanta. Is it only an impression or reality? I took the courage to interview Atlanta fashion professionals and am sharing their view of urban style with you:

Kollektionen Europas: 6 Hauptfarben des Fruehlings

Costume National, Dolce Gabbana und Alberta Ferretti treten in Atlasseide auf. Fendi, Kenzo und Lanvin haben rosafarbige Akzente auf schwarz.

Ultramarin: Julien MacDonald, Dolce Gabbana, Jean Paul Gaultier praesentieren Seiden- und Satinkleider.

Schwarz und weiss: Modisch ist Kombination aus beidem in grafischen und optischen Ornamenten. Giles und Armani praesentieren schwarz-weisse Minikleider + Accessoires aus den 60-ern, grosse Brillen und hohe Absaetze.

Hermes ist das beste Beispiel dafuer. Derek Lam, Luisa Beccaria und Bottega Veneta bieten komforte Kleidung fuer alle Lebenssituationen an.

Gelb: Im Fruehling draengt das Gelbe das Graue hinaus. So ist es der Fall in den Brandmarken Valentino, Chloe, Moschino, Belstaff. Eine gelbe Bluse zu Ihrer Jeans wird zum Hit der Saison.

Metallisch: Passt zu allen Lederarten. Silberne futuristische Kleider beinhalten Fendi und Hussein Shalayan Kollektionen.

Unisex Games

Style unisex is a playful, elegant and provoking combination of self confidence and diversity. And I am not talking about identical t-shirts and loose shorts equally abused by men and women attending a local Walmart (painful view!).

The fact of the unisex irresistible nature was solidly proven by Madame Chanel when she first introduced simple and stylish business suites for women that became a revolution in female clothing and her personal signature look. Today the most seductive figures of Hollywood underline their controversial characters with unisex style, such as Angelina Jolie’s tight leather pants and unisex style wests. Among other popular items are ties, jackets, men’s hats, denim wear, military boots and unisex perfumes. All looking equally impressive when worn with the right attitude. The secret of unisex popularity is the attitude: a mixture of self confidence and playful nature, strength and femininity.

I recently read an article featuring Paris boutiques and found the comments the owners quite entertaining. They noted that their female customers preferred buying authentically male wardrobe items to the ones specially customized for female buyers. I am a great supporter of those ladies: you should always go for a real thing.

Accessories advice: unisex style clothing is a good match with a wide belt and a leather tote bag.

Welche Unterwäsche ist modern diesen Frühling?

Gibt es zu viel von der Unterwäsche? In der Garderobe einer richtigen Frau muss es immer Platz für solche „Neuheiten“ geben. Wie verwöhnen uns die Designer in der kommenden Saison?

Modern ist ein so genannter Luftstil Fru-Fru- Kollektion von Bacirubati- Prints in Form der Herzen, Valery Marke ist voll von Volkselementen- rote Farbe, weiße Spitzen ergeben einen grellen Farbenkontrast.

Handgestrickt bleibt ein deuliches Zeichen für Retro-Spizen-Moderne. Die Farben der Unterwäsche-Saison – beige, pistazienblaß, helle Fliederfarben. Guess präsentierte Spitzen in beige, Valery kombinierte sie mit schwarz.

What does “stylish” mean? Is it a certain fashion, trend or amount of outfits we own? There are tens and hundreds of new designer collections coming out every year representing and reflecting the modern fashion: a mixture of epochs, cultures, nationalities and, as always, classic trends that will never die. They are usually combined with a fresh touch. Place a button on a jacket in a different place – and here you go: a new style is born! So, what are designers offering the fashion lovers in attempt to vary the existing package of trends? New fabrics, colors, unusual and sometimes funny combinations: everything a fashionista needs for a flattering, stylish and unique look.

But the true secret of individuality is in that subtle personal touch: something that only you can add to your style and express yourself, thus avoiding the so called "mass fashion". It is not accidental that we quoted the queen of couture Coco Chanel at the very beginning of this post. She truly proved the meaning of individuality in motions, thoughts and everything she created as a result of her fruitful and glamorous career.

Coco quietly passed away at the age of 88 right across the street from her famous Chanel House. At that time they found only 4 outfits in her closet but they were truly queen worthy. That was a style lesson of the century.

It’s still pretty chilly outside and any couple could use some “fire” to maintain the passion. A long-term relationship certainly has the necessary depth and strength but the routine of every day life is also always there. The latter will not scare a couple that knows how to thank each other for the precious moments together but can turn into a problem for a young couple. After all, we all need variety in life.

Psychologists say that the most vivid impressions stay in our memory forever including the tiniest details: colors, sounds, scents and tastes. You know how it happens: you hear a familiar song and suddenly smell the perfume that you smelled when you heard this song for the first time even though the perfume is not there any more.To stimulate the feeling of happiness and being in love in a similar way, you have to memorize the most important things about your happy love moments. Of course, you can’t completely reproduce the situation but it is always possible to find a detail that will awake that special feeling in your heart. Among these details are such “romantic friends” as jasmine and lavender scents. The best way to naturally introduce them is as a heart full of fresh flowers, for example. Also, we all know that the way to a man’s heart goes through his stomach (that is also true for women). Food is one of our best life pleasures. The kings of international cuisine turned it into a cult of temptation. The most seducing pleasure of every menu is a desert (especially attractive to lovers to increase their body and heart energy!). Here is a great recipe that might end up being the trick and the final touch of the Valentine’s day:

CHOCOLATE SOUFFLE

Eggs-10, sugar-2 cups, flour-1/2 cup, chocolate- 0.6 lb, milk- 5 cups, sugar powder.

Separate yellows from whites;Whip the egg yellows with sugar and flour and add chocolate (in small pieces);Add hot milk and heat the mixture up until it becomes thick; Whip chilled whites and mix with the chocolate mass when it cools down a bit; Bake in an oven in a baking dish (with a little butter) until ready; Put a little sugar powder on top and buon appetito!

Valentines Day is a wonderful and touching holiday celebrating love and friendship. And love is definitely in the air. However, it is difficult to avoid the stress of preparation going to the stores and trying to select the right gifts. Should I choose something special or something simple? Something fun or something with a message of true love behind it? Or maybe I shouldn’t buy anything at all and go for a romantic dinner instead?
